“Hi everyone. I enrolled on the teaching assistant course in March. I have just left my job working as a civil servant for 21 years and looking for a new direction. I have previous volunteer experience working with children but am hoping to now pursue this as a career. I am also applying to do voluntary work as a teaching assistant to gain hands on experience and I feel that this home study course will be a great asset to me and complement the practical skills I will learn. The learning materials are well set out and I am looking forward to completing my first assignment.
